Apple's keynote is Wednesday 9 September, 10:00 PT — Thursday 10 September at 03:00 AEST. By the end of this week almost everything below moves from one column to the other. This is the honest state of play right now.

The gap nobody is reporting
Notice what is missing from that table: not one actual dimension. No folded size in millimetres. No weight. No camera island footprint. No button positions. No hinge clearance.
Those are the only numbers that decide whether a case fits, and they are the ones leaks are consistently worst at. Screen diagonals leak easily because they come from display supply chains. Chassis geometry does not leak reliably, and camera island height almost never does.
What Wednesday actually settles
- The name. Everything downstream — search, listings, accessory labelling — follows from this.
- The dimensions. Apple's tech specs page goes live when the keynote ends. That is the moment case design can genuinely begin.
- The biometrics. Side-button Touch ID or something else. This decides an entire category of case design.
- Price and markets. Including whether Australia is in the first wave.

- Do not pre-order a case. Nothing on sale now was measured, because there is nothing to measure.

No. Nothing currently on sale was measured against a real device, because no retail device exists. Wait for a case designed after the phone shipped.
